Ah, 2008. What a year! And it only has a few hours left, if you live in New Zealand, that is. In the words of Nathan "Haha, sucks to be 2008."

So, in not particular order, here is a brief review of what I remember happened.

Politics:
- Labour finally got defeated in an election. Will National be better? I don't know! Maybe.
- A black guy beat an old white guy for the American presidency. Will this bring in a time of change for the United States of America and the rest of the world? I don't care! Maybe.

Music:
- Iced Earth brought out a new album. I haven't heard it yet. Should probably buy it...
- Found a few okay songs on the radio throughout the year though that have now been downloaded. Legally of course. *cough*

Movies:
- What came out this year? That Dark Knight movie? Haven't seen it yet.
- The new Narnia movie was cool.

Gaming:
- Start of the year brought the 4th job advancement on MapleStory. Biggest update to Maple in recent times, IMO.
- Pirates came out on Maple too.
- I got to 157 on Maple and quit because it got boring.
- Started playing WoW. Didn't manage to get to 80 before the end of the year though, because I'm lazy. Hooray!
- Wrath of the Lich King came out for WoW. I maintain it's overrated.
- I recently discovered Warcraft III. It's really really fun!
- Is it strange that this section is the biggest so far? Perhaps if my memory extended more than a month...

Love:
- Two failed relationships, both of which have served to remind me of Pam's ever useful advice: "Don't trust females"
- Possibly a renewed old relationship? I have no idea! Only 2009 will tell!

Anything else:
- Sir Edmund Hillary died. He was awesome!
- Crashed into my mum's car. Oops.
