So um, had my third ever driving lesson today! And my first in a manual! Seriously, I see why people use autos. Manuals are all like "MAKE SURE YOU SWITCH GEARS ALL THE TIME AND MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CLUTCH WHEN YOU BRAKE OR CHANGE GEARS BUT NOT WHEN YOU ACCELERATE" and I'm like "...wtf?"

So anyway, I sorta did okay at first. Kept doing weird things with accelerating and driving at unusual speeds. But got the hang of it kinda and instead started forgetting to brake at intersections. Or turning on the wrong side of intersections. Thank goodness for quiet towns!

But yeah, then I turned the corner to my mum's place (Where I'm staying), she yelled at me for not stopping at a give way (I did actually check), I got distracted, turned too sharply, panicked and hit my mum's car.


I hereby blame manuals!


Also, my ear still hurts. *stabs*
